Low Profile M12's for the Southern Baptist Convention

Community M12 monitors line the stage at the Annual Meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention in Orlando, Florida. “The SBC owns eight of the M12 monitors, and we use them for every event,” says Monitor Engineer Blair McNair. “They reach through the stage muck to deliver a clean and clear sound, with great intelligibility.”
New Forecaster HD Software

Community's new FORECASTER HD Ceiling Loudspeaker Distribution Software is an easy-to-use engineering tool which calculates general design suggestions for distributed systems. This free utility program helps select the proper model and quantity of Community Loudspeakers for various distributed applications based on user input of room dimensions and listening height. Sloped listening areas and ceilings can also be modeled using the software, while projects and mappings can be saved, recalled and shared. Forecaster HD software is free and can be downloaded HERE from communitypro.com.
Modern Sound for Historic Auditorium

Tuscaloosa, Alabama - Built in 1939, the University of Alabama's Foster Auditorium was home to UA's basketball teams in the 1970s and 1980s, as well as regularly hosting graduations, lectures, concerts and other large gatherings. The building is named for Autherine Lucy Foster, the first black student to be accepted and enrolled at UA. With the opening of the neighboring Coliseum, the building eventually lost its standing as the campus' largest indoor structure, and in recent years had fallen into disrepair. Recently, Foster Auditorium underwent a major renovation, reopening as home to the school's Crimson Tide basketball and volleyball teams.
The auditorium's new sound system is based around the Community iBOX High-Performance Installation Series. A total of 20 IHP-1596 and IHP-1564 two-way systems are arranged in single and dual clusters creating a large format distributed system. The distributed layout allows the loudspeakers to be relatively close to the seating area and the iBOX's tight pattern control focuses the sound on the seats, away from the reflective playing surface and the glass windows that surround the building.
Seahawks Take the Field with R-Series

The campus of Wagner College in Staten Island, New York has grown over the years to an idyllic 105 acres that overlooks the New York Harbor and the surrounding city skyline. The school's athletics department boasts several NCAA teams, with the Seahawks football team among the most prestigious in the Northeast Conference. The team's home field recently underwent a modern renovation, including a new sound system featuring Community's R-Series Loudspeakers.
The system features a pair of Community R2-52Z all-weather loudspeakers, with low frequency reinforcement via an R2SUB subwoofer. The loudspeakers are mounted onto the new scoreboard using custom fabricated brackets. Speech intelligibility is always important, but the school has a very rich student culture, with several dance teams who perform at the games. So the system also needed to deliver great full-range music in addition to audible speech. And the tight coverage pattern of the R-Series loudspeakers allows sound to be directed onto the stands and the field without disturbing the surrounding neighbors.
